Science Department Wish List

Parents,

We greatly appreciate those of you who have made donations to the 6th grade Science Department. You have made a difference in our efforts to better enable students to have interesting and meaningful hands-on science experiences. We still require few more items during the course of a school year. Again, these are those things that many of you may have in your homes already. We are asking those of you who still want to make contributions to select one or more items listed below to donate to our science program.

Earth Science
Updated Wish List

One package of latex or vinyl gloves
One box of Epsom or rock salt
One box of straws
One package of clothespins
One ball of string, twine, or yarn
One small box of crayons or colored pencils
One used fish tank
One box of freezer bags
One box of cornstarch
One box of food coloring
One box of aluminum foil
One bottle of hand sanitizer
One box of facial tissue
One bottle of cooking oil
One bottle of rubbing alcohol
One bag of potting soil
One bag of sand
One box of borax
One package of balloons

Your child may still receive credit for homework assignments for bringing one or more of the items above. Just send the items with the student when they come to school in the morning. Remind them to bring the items directly to their science teacher for credit. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again for your support.

Sincerely,

Vonda Shands, M.Ed.
